We continue to get great feedback about the camp. Now with the weather cooling we are pleased with the double glazing and heating and how this has made it comfortable for user

12th February 2012 We had a good weekend with another new group enjoying the camp

We are looking forward to our offical opening on the 18th of February. Look forward to seeing you there

20th January 2012  We have  had a a good summer with good usage of the camp and everyone pleased with the new hall and  its clean new facilities. The new grass has quickly established due to the excellent weather this summer. The new kitchen is drawing much praise as has the new veranda.

We are seeing an increase in bookings from schools and the new heating and insulation will make it attractive  to users this winter.

5th November

We have now had our first school camp and it has been great to see the camp beig used by school groups for the first time since the fire in 2010

30th October

We have had our first users of the new hall (Clan Gunn) and their

weekend went very well. We received many compliments about

the new hall and the new kitchen. This week will see our first

school camp with Timaru South School and Geraldine Primary

School the following week.

The grass seed has been sown on the front lawn and with

last weeks rain and the warmer temperatures we should see

the front lawn greening up over the following weeks.

We now have ride-on mower thanks to the generousity of the

 local Timaru Presbyterian Church

new hall

22 October

The new hall is complete after a

working bee on Sunday prepared it  for our

open day on Labour Weekend Monday.

We look forward to local community members

and previous users visiting. I'm sure many people

are keen to see the new hall.

We have Timaru South coming for the first school

camp and it is great that a school that has supported

the camp for a large number of years will be the first

 to use it.

Everyone is pleased with the kitchen with brand

new appliances and utensils and a clean simple feel to it

The hall and its great verandah look a great place

to have a wedding, 21st or even a family reunion.

We are looking forward to many people using

 these wonderful community facilities.

We are pleased  with the work that has

been carried out by Kiwispan.

Compare it to our old hall that was burnt down

in an arson attack (see below).
